Isle of Barra
It started as a dream to create a future for their family and generations to come on the land that they call home. Husband-and-wife, Michael & Katie Morrison, sought out to open the first legal distillery on the Isle of Barra.
From this instance the Isle of Barra Distillers was born. Fearless spirit brought them back. The desire to return to their roots and create Scotland’s most westerly distillery.
Isle of Barra call themselves a family distillery, that goes way beyond their own family. It’s all about connections, making everyone welcome and sharing this amazing experience with as many people as possible.
The unspoilt views of west and east of the vast Atlantic Ocean and mainland Scotland respectively, provide a truly unique setting.
