Lochlea Distillery

Rooted in Scottish history, Lochlea Distillery are very proud that Robert Burns called Lochlea his home throughout his formative years, from 1777 until his father’s death in 1784.

The distillery was commissioned in August 2018, after converting the former piggery, byre, and midden in the heart of the farm steading into the distillery and repurposing cattle sheds into bonded warehouses.

Lochlea’s diligent process at each stage of production creates a unique spirit character defined by the carefully selected raw materials and the skill of the team. It is led with great patience and attention to detail by their Production team, who consistently pull through the signature Lochlea flavours of juicy fruit and moreish cereal - a very different profile to the traditional typical Lowland style.
